Putting on my headphones this morning I realised I hadn’t listened to “my” music in almost two days. Ordinarily this would drive me mad - I need my fix! - but I didn’t mind so much this weekend. What did I do instead? I talked. A lot. Watched Good Night, And Good Luck. Ate at Koh for the second time since it opened on Monday. And slept loads, thanks to a freaky blood pressure drop which rendered me incapable of doing anything else for much of Saturday.

The no music thing made me think I might be able to manage this, and even enjoy it. Watch this space…
