Even the most rant-filled, frustrating of weeks in a long time seems much further away when curled up in front of a roaring fire with a glass of red wine and Black Books on DVD.

Although I did have to go out to my parents’ shed in the pissing rain to get the bottle of wine looking like this:

Susan’s reaction: “oh my god! you look homeless! can I get the camera?”

Ah Dylan Moran. I once sent my family Christmas cards with a cut-and-paste photo of me with the man himself wishing them seasons greetings from Mr and Mrs Moran- now every Christmas gift I’ve gotten from them since is DM related. Not that I’m complaining mind you.

Classic! I saw him sitting outside Grogan’s a couple of months ago. Sadly he’s not especially attractive in the flesh… not that I could see him too well through all the smoke!

Lovely socks, that shade of blue in them kinda matches the blue blank

It’s very Black Books to go racing out for wine even in the lashing rain. Splishy sploshy :-)

    Kat – thanks! They weren’t mine :)

Conortje – I hadn’t thought of that, but you’re right… I don’t know whether to be proud or mortified ;)
