Month ten

And, we’re into October. I didn’t quite manage to blog every day (who was I kidding?) but I gave it a fair shot, and I’m enjoying writing again at least.

There are many plans afoot for this month, almost all of which are likely to come to fruition! yay! Here is a neatly categorised list as I seem to be in organised mode this afternoon:

Food
- first attempt at fresh pesto tomorrow in order to tame my rogue basil plant, which is currently threatening to take over the whole livingroom windowsill
- avocadoes have been bought for ripening in time for guacamole making at the weekend
- Andrew’s visiting from Amsterdam this weekend… a great excuse (as if one were needed) to go out for dinner on Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Gigs
- Saturday 6th: Stars, The Button Factory
- Sunday 7th: Mos Def, The Village
- Friday 26th: Soulwax Nite Versions, The Ambassador
- Saturday 27th: Iron & Wine, The Ambassador

Travels
- Italia! We’re headed to Tuscany for a wedding on the 15th for a week. Lots of food and wine and exploring, plus, most importantly, celebrating with the fabulous bride and groom. Hurrah!
